How It Works
Your Grungard device stores all irrigation schedules locally on the device. This means that even if your internet connection goes down, scheduled irrigation will still run as planned.
What Still Works Without Internet
- All previously saved irrigation schedules continue to run on time.
- Manual valve control via Bluetooth (if you are within range).
What Requires Internet
- Remote control from outside Bluetooth range.
- Smart Irrigation (weather-based skip) — without internet, the device cannot check weather data, so all scheduled irrigations will run regardless of rain.
- Push notifications and real-time status updates in the app.
- Creating or modifying schedules remotely.
Restoring Connection
Once your internet connection is restored, the device will automatically reconnect to the server and sync all pending data. No manual action is required.
